Where can I find the DOT on my tire and what does it signify?

The "DOT" symbol certifies the tire manufacturer's compliance with the Transport Canada tire safety standards. Tires manufactured for use in Canada have the full DOT serial number located on one sidewall near the rim. A partial DOT serial number will appear on the opposite side of the tire.
